The much-awaited River Ranch County Park, nestled at 194 Reveille Way, is gearing up for a remarkable opening weekend extravaganza on July 22-23, replete with a plethora of captivating events and engaging activities.

During the two-day celebration, stretching from the serene hours of 7:30 a.m. to the enchanting moments of 9 p.m., the public is invited to indulge in the delight of delectable food trucks, alongside an assortment of other culinary artisans offering tantalizing refreshments. Furthermore, the Williamson County Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas shall generously bestow plant giveaways, fostering an environment of environmental awareness. As an added treat, visitors have the unique opportunity to embark on guided horseback rides, commencing at the delightful hour of 8:30 a.m., available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

An array of esteemed organizations including the esteemed Sun City Hiking Club, the erudite Master Naturalist, and the devoted River Ranch County Park Friends group shall be present, enlightening attendees with valuable insights and knowledge about the wonders that await in the new park.

To savor the delights of River Ranch County Park, a nominal day-use fee of $4 awaits adults, while a discounted fee of $2 awaits the venerable adults aged 65 and above.
