Pop sensations Meghan Trainor and the Jonas Brothers emerged victorious on Sunday (August 27) at the Streamy Awards 2023, an event that celebrated the evolution of Internet culture across time.
Meghan Trainor, renowned for her hit “All About That Bass,” clinched her inaugural Rolling Stone Sound of the Year accolade. In her acceptance speech, Trainor warmly acknowledged her children, including her newborn baby.
Trainor received recognition for her song “Made You Look,” which was lauded for its unparalleled impact on content creation across diverse social media platforms and its significant resonance within the sphere of popular culture, as indicated by representatives.
“Made You Look” achieved a peak position of No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts last year and claimed the summit of Billboard’s Adult Pop Airplay chart. Her son Riley actively contributed to the song’s popularity on social media, especially on TikTok, where it enjoyed substantial prominence throughout its chart-topping journey. Hosted in Los Angeles, the Streamy Awards, organized by Dick Clark Productions and Tubefilter, spotlight content creators across diverse genres such as beauty, comedy, food, gaming, music, podcasts, and sports.
