In that year something memorable occurred. Jonathan Taylor, a sophomore running back amazed everyone by rushing for a 221 yards and scoring three touchdowns. This outstanding performance led the Badgers to a 41 24 victory, over the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Fans have cherished these moments. Have eagerly anticipated their return.

As reported by Brett McMurphy of Action Network HQ Wisconsin football is preparing to host not one but two thrilling primetime games against Big Ten rivals during the 2023 season. These anticipated matchups will be televised on NBC, which adds more prestige to these exciting events.

The first primetime game will take place on October 21st when the Iowa Hawkeyes come to Madison. This matchup holds significance as it involves the Heartland Trophy. Both teams will be led by first year head coaches, Luke Fickell for the Badgers and Matt Rhule for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Its expected to be a battle under the lights at 6;30 PM time. This matchup also holds significance as it will be the meeting between these two teams before conference changes eliminate divisions in 2024.
